The Siri team at Apple is looking to improve the testability and scalability of Siri across all its core components for existing and new features, and solve challenging problems in large scale systems, natural language, and artificial intelligence.
Requirements
- Proficient with Swift for client development
- Experienced in Testing Pyramid, Component, Integration, System and End-to-End testing
- Experienced in multiple design patterns
- Experienced in Multithreading
- Experience with conversational AI technologies and frameworks
- Familiarity with Apple's research and products
- Experience designing and architecting tools and frameworks
Responsibilities
- Building the tests, tools and frameworks to make Siri more testable for all its core components for existing and new features
- Solving challenging problems, proposing new innovative solutions that are scalable to support our automation infrastructure across multiple cross functional teams
- Designing new architectures, to ensure the scalability and sustainability of the framework to tackle new challenging problems
- Building all vital APIs, frameworks, libraries and tools for our teams to test and automate
- Driving the development of tools and frameworks driven towards excellence in quality
- Analyzing and investigating test failures, errors, and build issues, able to properly drive issues to completion and support issues with data
- Developing frameworks and tools for making Siri more testable across all Siri stack, including functional and performance
Other
- 4+ years as Software Engineer
- Bachelor's in Computer Science (or 6yrs equivalent work experience)
- Excellent leadership in driving the development of tools and frameworks driven towards excellence in quality
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Possess an outgoing and positive demeanor to mobilize and lead others
