The BAM Operational Services (BOS) is looking for a Usability Tester consultant to provide support, mentoring, and training on Non-Functional Testing, specifically Performance and Accessibility Testing, as well as Interface Testing and Testing Automation for their solutions.
Requirements
- possess an understanding and working knowledge of web applications, analysis of technical documentation, testing techniques, and have experience using various accessibility software tools such as Job Access with Speech (JAWS) and Non-Visual Desktop Access (NVDA) to evaluate application accessibility compliance as part of the overall Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Perform initial accessibility testing and any follow-up testing;
- Document accessibility reports & accessibility remediation/exception defects;
- Work with other system testers and developers to ensure any accessibility deficiencies are mitigated or resolved
- Develop Service Virtualization solutions during testing phase;
- Develop automated test scripts to compare interface data;
- Parameterize tests to run with multiple sets of data;
Responsibilities
- Identify the performance-critical scenarios;
- Record scripts;
- Parameterize scripts to vary user input data;
- Identify information that needs to be gathered for load testing;
- Load test the application;
- Analyze the data captured during the test to make sure the application meets performance requirements;
- Provide Performance Test Results Summary.
