Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America's drone industrial base and needs to develop and implement cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for their drones to compete on the modern battlefield.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in computer vision, robotics, or related fields
  • Proven experience in developing algorithms for real-time systems, preferably for autonomous platforms
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++
  • Expertise in computer vision libraries and tools like OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
  • Experience with SLAM, object detection, and image segmentation techniques
  • Familiarity with UAVs and drone systems
  • Knowledge of real-time system constraints
  • Proficiency in debugging, testing, and validating algorithms in simulation and real-world environments

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms to be deployed onboard Neros drones.
  • Designing, testing, and optimizing algorithms for real-time operation in autonomous systems.
  • Ensuring high performance and reliability in diverse environments.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, software developers, and hardware engineers, to integrate vision-based solutions into autonomous drone platforms.
