Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an F-16 Avionics Software Interface Control Document (ICD) software database Coordinator to manage and maintain USAF and European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) F-16 avionics and Operational Flight Program (OFP) software Interface Control Documents (ICD), associated database management applications, and OFP software support tools for the F-16 System Program Office and 309th Software Engineering Group (SWEG).

Requirements

  • Experience maintaining documentation within established Configuration Management (CM) processes and systems.
  • Experience with complex software Configuration Management principles and processes to include familiarization with software tools such as Visual Studio, GIT, YAML, and/or AZURE DEVOPS.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Possess a basic understanding of F-16 specific or other fighter aircraft avionics, weapons, sensors, and/or software architecture.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with F-16 avionics software systems and primary and back-up bus controllers.
  • Ability to learn new software tools and techniques quickly and to perform detailed audits and comparisons with a high degree of attention to detail and follow through.
  • Software Requirements traceability database tool experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain master databases for F-16 aircraft OFP updates.
  • Resolve interface issues reported by USAF field organizations.
  • Participate in applicable System and Subsystem Design Review Boards (DRB) to provide updated interim and final software ICD documentation for each configured OFP maintenance update by the 309th SWEG.
  • Experience driving software ICD change and approval processes.
  • Ensure integrity of the ICD by enforcing consistent, accurate, and timely updates to the ICD.

  • Must be a United States Citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university with 7 years related experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer focus, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience interfacing with civilian government, DoD, and industry representatives.
