World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a senior leader to lead its global AI advisory practice, driving strategic alignment across Sales, Marketing, and SC&E to accelerate AI engagements, adoption, and revenue growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years management experience (or demonstrated leadership within a technical team)
- Proven leadership in AI strategy, development, and advisory.
- Ability to work with minimal direction toward long-range goals, acting independently to determine methods and procedures.
- Willingness to take calculated risks and pursue innovative solutions.
- Mentor and cross-train AI Specialty Sales professionals, including CDAs transitioning into advisory roles.
- Advocate for responsible AI practices, governance, and security across customer engagements.
- Guide internal teams on AI best practices, competitive landscape, and enablement materials.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop WWT's global AI Advisory team, including 15–20 AI Advisors across the UK, EU, USA, and APAC.
- Build and manage a customer-facing team of pre-sales AI Strategists for executive engagement on AI roadmap development, security, data foundations, and COE operating models.
- Drive AI GTM strategy in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and SC&E leadership, ensuring consistent messaging and value articulation across regions.
- Develop repeatable AI solutions and frameworks that support scalable delivery and brand leadership.
- Engage directly on strategic AI opportunities, including Studio, Foundry, and Factory offerings, with a focus on ROI and outcome-based value.
- Direct vertical and technology SMEs to produce monthly thought-leadership publications and research.
- Productize and deliver AI Studio projects to executives, blending billable and non-billable engagements.
Other
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Boards and ELTs, delivering thought leadership and executive briefings.
- Represent WWT in strategic partner engagements with OEMs, cloud providers, and ISVs.
- Contribute to internal enablement and external publications.
- Report on strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
- Challenges the norm, is bold, and contributes to the ongoing evolution of WWT's AI practice.
