LPL Financial is undergoing an Investor Experience system modernization initiative and is looking for experienced Data Engineers to contribute to this project, aiming to positively impact a large user base by providing high-quality data at scale.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development with Angular, C-Sharp .NET, AWS, Python, and SQL.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services including Glue, EKS, S3, MongoDB/DocDB, Postgres, API Gateway, and Kafka.
- 4+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- 5+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning; Snowflake experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with source control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins, Jules).
- 3+ years of experience in financial services or brokerage firms.
- Proficient in API development using C-Sharp .NET, EKS, and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on coding and implementation of resilient, scalable, and high-performance applications.
- Leverage modern tech stacks and development best practices to deliver business value.
- Develop technical documentation outlining system components and workflows.
- Partner with business units, technology teams, and product owners to align solutions with strategic goals.
- Work closely with QA, Release Management, and DevOps to ensure SDLC compliance.
- Oversee and participate in Agile/Scrum POD activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Lead and inspire a team of onshore and offshore developers to build, deploy, and support best-in-class software solutions.
