Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data-focused product management, product ownership, or business systems analysis, preferably within financial services.
  • 5+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a complex, enterprise-scale Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Proven expertise in data governance, data quality management, and defining data requirements for large-scale platforms.
  • Expert proficiency with Jira and Confluence for creating and managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and strategic documentation.
  • Deep technical background with an expert understanding of data architecture, SORs, APIs, and data modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to evaluate opportunities, define success metrics, and drive prioritization.
  • Proactively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks related to data quality, security, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the product vision and roadmap for Investment Management products, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and firm-wide data governance principles.
  • Act as the primary steward for data domains, establishing and enforcing data quality rules, access controls, and security protocols.
  • Foster deep collaboration between business, technology, and operations teams to translate high-level business needs into a clear and actionable data product backlog.
  • Own and prioritize the data product backlog, working with scrum teams to deliver features, enhancements, and foundational data capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of data literacy and knowledge sharing, ensuring that data is treated as a critical, shared asset across the organization.
  • Partner closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to align the data strategy with the firm's broader product goals.
  • Act as a key liaison between scrum teams and business stakeholders to ensure the teams build the right solutions at the right time to maximize business value.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Ability to translate complex business goals into a clear and actionable data product strategy.
  • Proven ability to drive outcomes and align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Exceptional skills in presenting complex data concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
