Credo is engineering the future of high-speed connectivity for the AI-driven world. Credo is seeking an experienced leader to drive the introduction of new optical technologies in our LED cable product line. As AVP – New Product Introduction, you’ll lead supplier strategy and technical readiness from early development through high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience transitioning optical components from R&D to high-volume production.
- Proven track record in developing global suppliers for GaN optical products, from initial demonstration to high-yield, high-volume output.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience leading manufacturing engineering teams.
- Experience overseeing manufacturing operations at scale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to develop product definitions and establish a robust supply base for optical components in Credo LED cable products.
- Lead the creation and refinement of “Should Cost” models for key optical components to support strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Assess potential suppliers for technical maturity, cost competitiveness, quality standards, and delivery capabilities to meet product release requirements.
- Contribute to the development of supplier gap closure plans and recommend targeted investments that accelerate time-to-market and maximize ROI.
- Partner with global operations teams to transition ALC products from R&D to scalable, high-yield manufacturing environments.
