LPL Financial is looking for an AVP, Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of SDETs in delivering high-quality software releases by implementing common practices, AI tools, metrics, and automation frameworks, ultimately improving customer quality and driving release efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in development (Java, JavaScript, C-Sharp, or any other object-oriented programming language), execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in web, mobile, API, and data testing techniques
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, GIT, SVN, Bitbucket, TFS, Code Linters, Code Scanners, Code Coverage tools, Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, NUNIT/JUNIT/TESTNG, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile practice
- Experience with driving transformation at scale
- Experience with CI/CD/Dev Ops practices, lean methodologies
- Hands-on Experience with one of the programming languages – Java, C-Sharp, JavaScript or any other object-oriented programming language.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET’s) working in Agile model supporting delivery teams to achieve consistent, predictable, high quality releases by implementing common practices, nextgen AI tools, metrics, automation frameworks and oversight and delivering high quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative and rapidly changing environment.
- Manage resources across different geographical locations and offshore vendors
- Work as a leader/trainer in a large, complex QA organization, with a demonstrated ability to implement scalable automation solutions
- Drive innovative testing solutions within a complex Enterprise Platform
- Educate the team with Security, Accessibility scans/testing, PLSQL
- Driving quality metrics to improve customer quality
- Drive release efficiency, reduce regression cycle time, and time to market
