At Bank of America, the business problem is to maximize the value for one or more products, at the program level in a scaled Agile model, and to define, develop, and drive the roadmap for cloud-based products and services delivered on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical product requirements.
- Experience with agile methodologies and backlog management (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Product Manager certification (desired).
- Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks (desired).
- Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices (desired).
- Background in software engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps (desired)
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AWS-based products and services (e.g., landing zones, data platforms, developer platforms, cloud-native services).
- Translate business and customer needs into AWS service offerings that drive adoption, scalability, and value.
- Prioritize features and improvements using data-driven insights, stakeholder input, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Ensure alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework (Reliability, Security, Cost Optimization, Performance, Sustainability).
- Partner with engineering, DevOps, and SRE teams to deliver AWS product features on time and within scope.
- Define and maintain product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Oversee go-to-market activities, adoption campaigns, and internal enablement for AWS services.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with at least 2+ years focused on cloud (AWS preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in an in-office culture with specific requirements for office-based attendance and flexibility.
- Ability to work 1st shift (United States of America) for 40 hours per week.
