The Axiom Developer Sr. role is responsible for creating and managing regulatory reports, translating business requirements into functional specifications, designing, developing, and implementing Axiom solutions to meet business requirements, including creating data sources, data models, and reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years Axiom experience in Financial Services Industry
- Strong technical skillset in at least one major relational database platform. (SAS, MS SQL, Oracle, or IBM db2).
- Demonstrated knowledge depth in financial reporting tools (AXIOM, Essbase, Oracle, etc)
- Solid foundational understanding of major financial concepts including balance sheet, ledger, revenue and expenses.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Axiom solutions to meet business requirements, resolve technical issues, and optimize performance
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Ability to troubleshoot all issues withing Axiom and work with vendor to resolve open items
- Have a good understanding of scalability and needed solutions
- Proficiency in Axiom ControllerView and other Axiom components: Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand’s, Portfolios, Aggregations, Tabular Reports, Free Forms, and Data Lineage.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining data integrity
- Expertise in data mapping metadata management and performance optimization

- Collaborate with business users and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- This role is a fast paced, deadline driven position, often requiring participation or leading of large complex projects.
- This individual will work closely with Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, Regulatory Reporting, and IT.
