Peraton is seeking an Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer to provide cloud platform design, implementation, and support in an enterprise-level environment, supporting the Information Technology Service Desk and Engineering Support program for a Contract at U. S. Department of Health and Human Services, to help move the organization from an on-prem platform to the cloud.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Azure Cloud Architecture and Design
- Knowledge of Azure Landing Zone concepts, including management groups, subscriptions, resource groups, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
- Expertise in designing and implementing Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, network peering, and virtual network gateways
- Programming and Automation in Azure using PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- DevOps tools experience, including CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of Azure REST APIs, Azure CLI, and SDKs for automating deployments and managing Azure resources programmatically
Responsibilities
- Design and develop hybrid cloud solutions
- Provide cloud platform design, implementation, and support in an enterprise-level environment
- Build and oversee public and private servers and network infrastructure
- Implement Azure Landing Zone concepts and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Design and implement Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, network peering, and virtual network gateways
- Automate tasks and configure resources in Azure using PowerShell, Python, and Bash
- Support continuous deployment of infrastructure using CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions

- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
