LMI is looking to hire a DevSecOps Engineer to support a critical U.S. Navy logistics program that is transforming how the fleet tracks assets across the globe. The role will focus on owning the security and automation layers of the platform, from hardening the CI/CD pipeline to building IaC templates, running security scans, and responding to real-world threats.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
- Security+ or equivalent
- Strong background in Linux and containerized environments.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration engines (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
- 2+ years of experience writing code (C, Python, or similar).
- Deep understanding of version control, rollback strategies, and artifact promotion.
Responsibilities
- Build and secure CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, or similar tools.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, container scanning, and security gates into automated build workflows.
- Deploy and support Kubernetes clusters using tools like Helm and Rancher.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Write scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to support system automation and secure deployments.
- Stand up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
- Manage secrets, permissions, and identity integrations (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Familiarity with secure software development lifecycles and Agile practices.
