Hamilton Company is looking to hire an Azure System Administrator to design, automate, and support enterprise systems and infrastructure across Azure, Microsoft 365, and DevOps pipelines, including Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure Active Directory. The role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
Requirements
- Proficient in managing Azure identities, governance, Azure AD and other M365 applications.
- Experience with Azure pipelines, Git version control, and TFS vNext.
- Hands-on knowledge of various testing technologies.
- Familiarity with common DevOps toolchains.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and experience with Azure Repos, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Manage Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other M365 services.
- Configure and maintain user accounts, licenses, and security groups.
- Implement compliance policies, retention rules, and Data Loss Prevention strategies.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Azure and M365-related issues.
- Integrate with Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, App Services, and Azure Functions.
- Provision and automate Azure resources using Bicep and Terraform.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Python; develop custom pipeline tasks.
Other
- Onsite role located in Reno, Nevada
- Work closely with the Systems Administrator to ensure business continuity between On-premises and Azure environments.
- Work closely with development teams.
- Optimize build and deployment processes through automation and collaboration.
- Provide occasional night/weekend support as needed.
