Atmosfy is looking for a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power their platform, which aims to redefine how people discover experiences in real-time.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and its ecosystem (Express, Nest.js, etc.).
- Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or equivalent framework).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservice design.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express/Nest.js) and PHP (Laravel/Symfony)
- Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
- Implement and manage integrations with third-party APIs and services.
- Maintain database schemas and queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance best practices.
