Attix Inc. is looking to solve the problem of identifying Dark Market Activity (DMA) through advanced analysis of large orders and providing reliable intelligence to traders, by building and optimizing high-performance infrastructure for financial trading systems
Requirements
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, expert-level SQL, and proficiency in languages like Java, Rust, or Go
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and other RDS databases
- Strong experience with Kafka, distributed systems, and microservices
- Experience with high-performance systems with millisecond latency, complex ETL pipelines, and high-frequency data ingestion and processing
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Strong understanding of caching strategies (Redis, CDN, application-level)
- Experience working with options/equity data and integrating with market data vendors and brokerage systems
Responsibilities
- Contribute to our polyglot environment by building high-performance services (using Java, Rust, Elixir, or Go) and APIs (TypeScript)
- Design, build, and support our databases for both time-series and transactional data
- Create and manage complex, high-throughput ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and validate multi-source financial data at scale
- Serve as a key architectural partner, taking ownership of features and making independent technical decisions
- Utilize your hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS, and CloudWatch to build and deploy scalable backend solutions
- Write clear and concise API documentation and design APIs that adhere to best practices
- Write unit and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of developed features

- 3+ years of experience in financial trading systems, including equities, options trading, market data feeds, and real-time processing
- A proactive, self-managed, and quick learner with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
