Booz Allen is looking for an experienced back-end developer to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for their clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development with programming languages and back-end software design, such as Python
- 2+ years of experience with containers, such as Docker
- Experience with container orchestration software such as Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies
- Experience with front-end programming languages and web stacks, such as Python or React
- Experience with infrastructure as code languages, such as Terraform
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Responsibilities
- Contribute to solution development
- Create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability
- Work with the development team to deliver solutions using the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools
- Create efficient and effective systems for clients
- Identify potential risks
- Develop user-focused solutions
- Work with containers, such as Docker
Other
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 9+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional team
- Ability to work on camera during interviews and assessments
- Willingness to periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility if position is listed as remote or hybrid
