North Point Technology's FS2 Aero team seeks to enhance existing code and integrate solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office by resolving complex technical issues, supporting incident response, and driving continual system improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Python and C-Sharp/Java framework experience
- 4+ years with unit testing, CI tools, and GitLab
- Expertise in cloud/SOA/web services or virtualization
- Proficient in C-Sharp/Java with working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Linux and/or Windows system administration
- DoD 8570 compliance
- AWS cloud formation templates
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues involving REST APIs, databases, and applications.
- Develop and document functionality in GitLab repositories, applying DevOps practices to deliver features within an Agile framework.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, increment planning) and support iterative testing using Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
- Apply cloud computing expertise to administer systems, modify GOTS code, and integrate open-source solutions into web applications.
- Collaborate with team members to review tickets, ensure proper testing, and deliver functionality aligned with User Story Acceptance Criteria.
- API development, database integration, and enabling interaction with Redux/React frameworks for visualization and data filtering, with best practices in unit and build testing.
- Support the development of innovative systems for analytics, exploitation, production, and dissemination using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies.

- Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire
- BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance
- BS in Information Systems, Computer Science of closely related discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Evening or weekend work can be required (approx. 2 times a month but can vary by mission requirements)
