They need a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain the server-side components that underpin their web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless data flow, reliable APIs, and scalable backend systems that support critical healthcare operations.
Requirements
- Strong Java development skills, particularly with Spring Boot and Spring Security
- Proficiency in RESTful API design
- relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, and SNS
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular or React
- version control systems like Git
- experience with CI/CD automation, containerization with Docker, and Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components that underpin our web and mobile applications
- design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
- Building and maintaining MySQL databases, implementing efficient data access patterns
- developing RESTful services and third-party integrations (such as Nylas, Twixor, and Documo)
- ensure secure coding practices in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- optimize application performance across distributed systems
- Deploying and scaling applications using AWS services

- A minimum of three years of professional experience in backend development or a similar role is required.
