Actalent is looking to develop and maintain custom backend solutions to help create innovative products and maintain existing solutions
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with AWS, including AWS Lambda
- Experience in unit testing and server scaling for large numbers of users (10K+)
- Strong understanding of Linux servers
- Experience with push notification backend architectures
- Familiarity with open source technologies
Responsibilities
- Develop custom backend solutions utilizing Python
- Develop and maintain SQL databases
- Create and maintain custom backend services to facilitate product connectivity
- Configure and store device data for cloud-based analytics
- Commit to rapid development and proof of concept designs
- Convert and deploy prototype designs to volume production
- Test and debug servers for robustness and general reliability
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in developing backend infrastructure
- Self-motivated and able to multi-task and communicate effectively with little supervision
- Engineering diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a hybrid position in Raleigh,NC
