IDPrivacy is seeking a Backend developer to engineer a fundamental evolution of the Internet, focusing on improving consumer privacy online in response to global regulatory changes and industry shifts like Google's deprecation of 3rd-party tracking cookies. The goal is to create effective advertising platforms that are privacy-preserving from the ground up, designing for the future of online advertising.
Requirements
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
- Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Experience with server, network, and hosting environments.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of security and data protection practices.
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Good understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Develop and deploy RESTful APIs to support frontend functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
