Akkodis is seeking a Backend Developer for a contract role to design and develop backend services, build and maintain RESTful APIs, and integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- strong experience in backend development using Kotlin, Vert.x, and RxJava, with a solid foundation in RESTful APIs, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, DB2, Cassandra, Couchbase).
- Familiarity with observability tools and practices including telemetry, SLO alerting, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Nexus), Git Branching strategies, and software testing standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Kotlin, Vert.x, RxJava, and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs with a strong understanding of JSON and web service technologies.
- Integrate automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in agile development processes using tools like Jira, Rally, Git, and Maven.
