LaSalle Network is hiring a Backend Developer – Data for a global organization undergoing a major digital transformation to redefine its customer experience through modern platforms, enhanced data architecture, and a best-in-class eCommerce model. This role will work at the core of that transformation—building data integration APIs that fuel operations across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM.
Requirements
- Experience with backend data integration, ETL workflows, or PIM systems
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (Next.js experience a plus)
- Working knowledge of Kafka and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Informatica P360 and its API integrations (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of API development and system integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across business and technical teams
- Comfortable interfacing with senior leadership and cross-functional collaborators
Responsibilities
- Develop robust backend APIs to facilitate data integration between Informatica P360 and internal platforms
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and JavaScript frameworks (especially Next.js)
- Integrate data with Kafka and PostgreSQL as part of a modern event-driven architecture
- Translate complex data migration needs into scalable, reliable backend solutions
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and senior IT stakeholders to shape architecture decisions
- Troubleshoot integration challenges, improve performance, and support production rollouts
- Stay hands-on with the full development lifecycle, from planning to release
