Requirements
4+ years of experience in back-end development using Python and FastAPI.
Experience in full stack development using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and other stores (Redis) a plus.
Familiarity with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.
Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Docker.
A security-minded approach to software design, with experience in regulated environments a plus.
Experience in ambiguous startup environments, proactively taking ownership, and communicating clearly across teams.
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable back-end services using Python and FastAPI.
Support infrastructure management using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality code standards.
Contribute to improving software development processes and best practices.
Take the lead in defining best practices around infrastructure, security, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting strategy.
Work across the stack when needed to fully own a feature.
