Adaptable Intelligence is looking to build, iterate, and scale their core product by hiring a backend engineer who can interface with various engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that improve user experience and support business growth.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional backend software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Go, Rust, Python, Node.js)
- Extensive database experience with both SQL and NoSQL systems
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- API design and development experience with REST and/or GraphQL
- Version control proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services and APIs to support our core product
- Ship fast and iterate quickly based on user feedback and data insights
- Architect scalable systems that can grow with our user base and business needs
- Optimize application performance for high throughput and low latency
- Collaborate directly with founders on product strategy and technical decisions
- Establish engineering best practices including code review, testing, and deployment processes
- Mentor future team members as we grow the engineering organization
