Shipt is looking to build scalable, high-performance solutions that power their Shopper Backend ecosystem, directly impacting the reliability and efficiency of mission-critical systems, including services that introduce prospective shoppers to their systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years programming in Golang, Ruby, C, C++, Java, Python or similar language
- comfortable working with SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
- actively participate in the design process to build efficient, scalable, and maintainable architecture
- experience diagnosing and solving complex technical problems and performance bottlenecks using data
- Experience reviewing and collaborating with other engineers on their code
- experience designing, developing, and maintaining systems that integrate with third-party services
Responsibilities
- design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Go-based microservices
- leverage API integrations
- implement observability best practices
- utilize infrastructure tools like SQL databases and Kafka
- developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring the effectiveness of your contributions
- designing, developing, and maintaining systems that integrate with third-party services
