Kalshi is defining a new category of prediction markets and is looking for backend engineers to build and maintain the infrastructure underlying their trading operations to help them build the next generation of financial markets.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a backend engineer
• Experience building robust high performance event-driven systems and APIs
• Very comfortable with relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
• Experience writing concurrent code
• Familiarity with the AWS stack (especially RDS and ECS)
• Familiarity with stream processing (Kafka)
• Proficiency in Golang

Responsibilities
