Beyond Gravity is looking to build its first MVP and lay foundations for downstream applications, specifically a high-performance, real-time tracking application for Space Situational Awareness data processing
Requirements
- Node.js, Python/FastAPI or Rust
- API security, authentication (Azure AD or Keycloak is a plus)
- containerized environments (Docker, Docker Compose)
- RESTful API design and integration (Kafka and Spring Boot)
- Familiarity with orbital mechanics and geospatial data
- Experience with LLM APIs or local models
- Exposure to On-Prem or air-gapped software dev
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the backend for Space Situational Awareness data processing with real-time ingestion
- Implement secure APIs for orbital analysis and technical payload information as you Integrate, design and maintain external data sources
- Ensure BE services are testable, modular, and scalable as you collaborate with other engineers to expose insights
- Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling as you conduct performance tuning and optimization
- Participate in architecture design and documentation and agile ceremonies to drive technical excellence
- Support on-premises deployment and configuration when needed
- Maintain compliance with data security and access policies
Other
- Master’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience as Backend dev
