The API Platform team specifically builds backend APIs for all MetaMask platforms, powering product experiences and enabling scalability to billions of users.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer working on production applications
- Experience with Node.js back-end development (preferably Typescript)
- Experience with, or understanding of: PostgreSQL
- Experience working in CI/CD setup
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
- Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Web3.js or Ethers.js library
Responsibilities
- builds the backend APIs for use across all MetaMask platforms, both directly by MetaMask clients as well as other backend APIs that power the product experiences within MetaMask
- API Platform services include a Price API, Token API, Account API, NFT API, and more
- working on production applications
