Accretive Technology Group (ATG) is seeking experienced Backend Software Engineers to join their dynamic Financial Services development team to work on high-impact, scalable products utilizing modern technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that drive core financial solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Typescript and NodeJS
- Experience with Java and Kotlin
- Knowledge of PHP
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as MariaDB or MySQL
- Familiarity with Git and version control platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket
- Experience in application/system design and architecture
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and maintenance of backend systems
- Enhance engineering practices through code reviews, mentorship, and fostering innovation
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to develop scalable and sustainable solutions
- Implement and maintain event-driven architectures and microservices
- Develop and execute automated tests to ensure software quality
- Participate in agile planning, stand-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into development processes
Other
- Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven ability to deliver software iteratively using agile methodologies
- Preferred but not required skills include Kafka Streams, gRPC, NestJS, working within service-oriented architectures, CI/CD best practices, and technical leadership experience.
