Requirements
- 10+ years of backend-focused experience in application programming
- Strong working experience with Java or Scala
- Proficiency in reading and understanding complex enterprise-grade code, with the ability to contribute quickly and suggest improvements
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Additional experience with Python, C-Sharp, or other backend languages is a plus
- Solid foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and asynchronous programming
- Excellence in test writing discipline
Responsibilities
- Contribute to backend server-side development to ensure our applications are extensible, scalable, and secure
- Prioritize between customer deliverables and technical debt to develop sustainable software solutions
- Design and architect complex frameworks for applying machine learning techniques to large data volumes
- Simplify labor-intensive processes through innovative backend solutions
- Deliver resilient enterprise software solutions that meet high standards of reliability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business goals
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration to ensure code quality
