Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience deploying and maintaining software in Kubernetes environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS
- Strong understanding of containerized applications and serverless architectures
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs, distributed NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, and event-driven architectures
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, or similar tools
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitLab
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ground satellite operations software using Python, ensuring high scalability, security, and performance.
- Create microservices deployed in cloud or on-premise environments, focusing on automation and resource optimization.
- Design and troubleshoot APIs, distributed databases, and event-driven systems to support satellite communication and data processing
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and updates.
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and system troubleshooting to uphold high-quality standards.
- Contribute to DevSecOps practices, enhancing security, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure software maintainability and resilience.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, DevOps, or related roles
- Active or previous U.S. Security Clearance (TS/SCI) preferred
