Requirements
- Experience as a backend developer with a focus on Kotlin
- Experience with TypeScript as a backend developer
- Experience with React (at least 6 months) - will be a plus
- Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration tools
- Experience with GitHub copilot or Gemini
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side code using Kotlin, Typescript (for backend development and requires handling a complex central codebase)
- Support production applications including on-call responsibilities
- Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs
- Help improve, expand and maintain our acquisition, applicant and customer APIs
- Design and implement database schemas with a focus on data consistency, integrity, and optimization
- Optimize and maintain database performance for high-volume applications
- Work with the engineering and product team to help bring the features on our ambitious roadmap to life for our customers
