Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Backend Software Developer to help build out their technology footprint and continue to build out Hagerty’s IT cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of coding, software development, cloud technologies, or related experience required
- Demonstrated experience and aptitude with at least one backend programming language, such as JavaScript, and strong understanding of API development/utilization
- Knowledgeable with cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Prior work with a relational database and associated language, such as SQL, as well as IDE (Visual Studio, Postman, etc.) preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement development and production environments utilizing AWS technology stacks, including event driven architecture, gateways, lambdas, etc.
- Design/develop/build/test APIs to integrate our growing cloud (vendor) platforms and handle process automation
- Build/execute test frameworks, plans, and software that is secured appropriately based on security best practices
- Assist in the creating and furthering automation builds, testing, and auditing capabilities
- Create documentation as needed (process flows, architecture, procedures, security procedures, test plans, code reviews, etc.)
- Assist with backend platform integrations and implementations
- Build Batch processes as needed
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Provide production support for developed solutions and enhance/refactor existing solutions as needed
