Piper Companies is looking to solve the problem of building and maintaining scalable backend systems for a leading provider of healthcare education and workforce development solutions
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of backend development experience with Python.
At least 2 years of experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in REST API development and Git version control.
Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to clarify requirements and manage backlog tasks.
Optimize codebase for performance, scalability, and security using best practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation to support development and operations.
