Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in architecting and delivering complex backend systems
- Deep understanding of system architecture and the interconnected layers of large-scale systems
- Experience in system design and scaling large data applications
- Proficiency in database design and analytics, including SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Strong experience in optimizing system and application performance, debugging, and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core infrastructure to support high-availability, low-latency systems at scale
- Build and productize critical components of our financial system, laying the groundwork for an intuitive and powerful solution
- Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, resilience, and developer productivity
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot complex systems and serve as a technical advisor during trade-off discussions and prioritization
- Develop technical solutions to high-impact business challenges, considering broader company goals
- Mentor and guide other engineers through code reviews, pairing, onboarding, and technical leadership
