The Photo & Text team at TikTok is looking to explore and build new, fun, and innovative content creation and consumption experiences on TikTok to inspire creativity, increase content mobility, and entertain users. The internship aims to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths within this domain.
Requirements
- Proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Go, Java, Python, C++, Javascript, TypeScript
- Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our talented mobile and product team to develop and ship new, innovative user features on TikTok
- Participate in improving system design and architecture to ensure service reliability, performance, and extensibility
- Learn and understand how TikTok products work and help build end-to-end solutions
- Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work in a rapid environment
Other
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
