InfoSend is looking to hire a Backend Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support their production workflows, client portals, and internal applications, ensuring efficient, robust, and secure technology solutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in web programming languages (such as PHP, JavaScript)
- Experience building APIs, microservices, or distributed applications
- Strong SQL experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with version control (SVN), SDLC, CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding best practices
- Linux development experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data workflows to support internal applications and client-facing portals
- Integrate systems related to job submission, data processing, production tracking and reporting
- Build and optimize database structures to support high-volume transactional operations
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with front end programmers to align user facing features with backend functionality
- Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards (including SOC, HIPAA, PCI, if applicable, etc.)
- Develop documentation, technical specifications, and maintenance procedures
Other
- 5+ years of experience as a backend developer or software engineer
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment
- Remote/Hybrid-If in commutable distance to our Anaheim location.
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm PST
- Flexible for starting times between 7:30am-6:00pm PST.
