GE Vernova Onshore Wind needs to optimize installation and Balance of Plant for their 3MW and below Onshore Wind Platforms to improve product competitiveness.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in wind installation and/or balance of plant construction management
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation related to installation and balance of plant optimization
- Develop business cases to prioritize product, tool, and capability developments
- Own and maintain the tooling & fixture databases to aide in appropriate project management of tooling development and deployment to regions on-time and within expected costs
- Drive engagement with regional teams to incorporate local requirements for successful product launches
- Ensure installation readiness for new product launches for all relevant regions
- Own the installation and balance of plant should cost models
- Create and execute an action plan to achieve product targets; highlight gaps and develop/execute opportunities to close
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wind industry
- Ability to distill large amounts of information and effectively communicate key messages
- Self - starter, highly motivated, innovative, and creative thinker
- Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders around a common goal
- Strong project management experience, leading cross-functional, global projects
