Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking a BEST Program Business & Data Analyst to assist in gathering and documenting reporting and analytics requirements, analyzing existing SQL queries, mapping and validating data from Oracle to Snowflake, and supporting the development, configuration, and testing of reports and dashboards in a new solution.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle and Snowflake).
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps.
- Experience with financial data and reporting, preferably in public sector or state systems.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Toad, or BI platforms a plus.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SMEs and system integrators to gather and document reporting and analytics requirements.
- Analyze existing SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports; create an inventory of current reporting.
- Map and validate data from Oracle to Snowflake, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in developing and configuring reports and dashboards in the new solution.
- Support testing, including user acceptance testing, and participate in training efforts.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues, inconsistencies, and discrepancies.
- Document report redevelopment requirements and validate output of new queries.
