TikTok is looking to enhance its content moderation capabilities to minimize risks on its platform to users and advertisers, and to become the most trusted and secure platform in the US.
Requirements
- Experience in data science programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Experience working with Business Insights tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Proficiency in Excel & Google sheet
- Strong experience conducting and evaluating A/B tests, ideally in Financial and/or Operational related fields and using Python for data extraction (APIs), ETL tasks, and automation
- Knowledge of statistical analysis or data modeling techniques, including hypothesis testing, experiment design, and common regression and classification algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Employ sophisticated statistical modeling techniques for demand forecasting and resource allocation to optimize expenditure growth and investment allocation within the moderation workforce.
- Conduct advanced data mining, regression analysis, and other statistical techniques to uncover valuable patterns and trends, fostering a deeper understanding of business dynamics.
- Conduct experimentation to continuously refine and optimize moderation efficiency, leveraging data-driven insights to implement iterative improvements.
- Architect and manage scalable, automated dashboards and reports to monitor and evaluate progress against critical operational performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
- Lead the business review process, crafting executive-level presentations and facilitating performance meetings aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Other
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related subjects is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in management, business process improvement, or analytical roles in content moderation or similar fields.
- Ability to craft executive-ready narratives around complex business or operational topics and successfully influence VP+ decision making
- Ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
