DecisionPoint seeks a BI Developer and Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise dashboards and automated reporting pipelines for a large federal and DoD-aligned IT mission environment to support operational visibility across availability, incident trends, security events, service desk KPIs, performance indicators, and other mission-critical metrics, enabling data-driven decision making, analytics maturity, and real-time insight into system performance and operational health.
Requirements
- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar BI platforms.
- Experience building automated data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Proficiency in dashboard development and data visualization.
- Strong SQL and ETL development skills.
- Knowledge of data modeling, dataset optimization, and automated refresh schedules.
- Experience integrating data from monitoring, ticketing, and operational systems.
- Experience with cloud data services such as AWS or Azure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar BI tools.
- Implement automated data pipelines and ETL processes that support operational reporting.
- Build dashboards for availability, incidents, service desk KPIs, operational metrics, and security events.
- Develop data models, transformations, and shared datasets used across reporting teams.
- Integrate data from monitoring platforms, incident management systems, logs, and operational databases.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and refresh reliability across all dashboards.
- Optimize dashboard performance and ensure compliance with accessibility, governance, and federal reporting standards.

- Must hold an active Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 3 background investigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BI development, data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and operational teams.
