The BI Developer II plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, and actionable insight delivery.
Requirements
- Functionally competent on multiple software systems including sales systems, data architecture, data processing, data analytics, SQL Management Studio Tableau, PowerBI, Analysis for Office, PowerPivot, Snowflake, SAP Hana, and Alteryx
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills to enable agile data analysis and data preparation for front end BI implementation
- Expert Microsoft Office expert skills required
- Basic Knowledge of SharePoint
- High-level understanding of ETL work and API integration
Responsibilities
- Develops, builds, designs, and deploys business solutions, while maintaining advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools available in the landscape including and not limited to Tableau, PowerBI, Webi, Analysis for Office, Alteryx, Snowflake, SAP Hana, SQL Management Studio
- Develops and executes database queries and performs and documents data analysis, data validation, data mapping, design, produce data samples, prototypes and produce ad-hoc reports.
- Obtain and analyze data by accessing multiple sources and data warehouses.
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills to enable agile data analysis and data preparation for front end BI implementation
- Maintains business intelligence models to design, develop and generate both standard, ad-hoc reports, and automated reports
- Looks for ways to streamline report generation and provide business leaders with resources to enable informed decision making, including self-service tools that enable users to analyze data through many business dimensions with visibility to granular and historical data
- Identifies and resolves data reporting issues in a timely fashion, while looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
