Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that support clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making by resolving data integrity issues within the EHR system.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with EHR data (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Charm).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
- Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with AI/ML data preparation and integration.
- BI tool certifications (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from cloud-based sources, including EHR systems.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.
- Build and maintain semantic layers and data models to support scalable reporting.
- Support AI initiatives by preparing clean, structured datasets for modeling and analysis.
- Document data definitions, report logic, and SOPs for transparency and reproducibility.

- Ability to fulfill project management responsibilities to manage reporting efforts and drive process improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical, pharmacy, and technology teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical terminology, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
