Requirements
- Expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, evolutionary biology, immunology, neurobiology, developmental biology, and biochemistry
- Knowledge of signal transduction, gene expression, protein folding, microscopy techniques, cloning methods, CRISPR and genome editing, laboratory protocols, biosafety procedures, and the role of biological systems in health and disease
- Ability to document failure modes
- Ability to capture reproducible error traces
- Ability to suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Responsibilities
- Challenge advanced language models on topics like signal transduction, gene expression, protein folding, microscopy techniques, cloning methods, CRISPR and genome editing, laboratory protocols, biosafety procedures, and the role of biological systems in health and disease
- Document every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning
- Converse with the model on lab scenarios and theoretical biology questions
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
