Akuna Capital is seeking an experienced Broker Trader to support their team in expanding coverage and competing in the marketplace.
Requirements
- 2+ years of options market making experience
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- VBA or Python programming skills are a plus
- Ability to work alongside and communicate with screen traders
- Existing business relationships with inter-dealer, floor or direct counterparty brokers and paper flow
Responsibilities
- Make markets on options for brokers and banks through chat and voice platforms
- Identify opportunities in the marketplace and represent them in the team's P&L
- Work in a collaborative and comprehensive team environment to learn systems and trading style
- Develop and maintain strong working business relationships with inter-dealer, floor or direct counterparty brokers and paper flow
- React quickly and accurately to rapidly changing market conditions
- Quickly and accurately respond to and/or solve math and coding problems
