Akuna Capital is looking for an experienced Broker Trader to expand coverage and compete in the options marketplace by making markets on options for brokers and banks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of options market making experience
- VBA or Python programming skills are a plus, but not required
- The ability to react quickly and accurately to rapidly changing market conditions, including the ability to quickly and accurately respond and/or solve math and coding problems are essential functions of the role
Responsibilities
- Make markets on options for brokers and banks through chat and voice platforms.
- Make a ‘first show’ market for an inter-dealer broker.
- Execute against an order on the trading floor.
- Identify opportunities in the marketplace.
- Learn our systems and trading style.
- Provide value from day one.
- React quickly and accurately to rapidly changing market conditions.
