CAS is seeking Cheminformatics Scientist Interns to support the analysis of chemical information and development of training models for Machine Learning, aiming to accelerate breakthroughs in scientific disciplines by leveraging high-quality data.
Requirements
- Background in programming languages such as Python and Java is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support analysis, visualization and interpretation of chemical structures and chemical names for training machine learning models.
- Maintain detailed records of various activities and contribute to the documentation of methodologies and findings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists, biologists, and data scientists, to support various projects.
- Assist with developing services and systems within an Agile Development team.
- Collaborate with local and global teammates and product owners grooming backlogs for upcoming development sprints.
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Self-motivated individual with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail.
