Verisk is looking to solve business and technical problems in the insurance industry by hiring interns for various roles, including Business Analyst, Government Relations, and Product Management, to provide real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Microsoft excel as a foundation.
- Technical skill requirements vary depending on the position.

- A history of tackling projects with a quantitative lens, and a desire for data-driven insights.
- Interest or past experience in insurance is helpful, though not required.
- Ability to learn, problem-solve and work independently on projects.

Responsibilities
- Conduct immersive research, analyze data, and develop innovative future programs to benefit our customers.
- Participate in detail-oriented risk or financial initiatives for our global company and/ or our clients.
- Case law review, how regulatory requirements impact our core products (ISO forms and rules), and the filing process to get such changes approved by the state insurance departments for use for our customers.
- Work with our industry data partners to ensure the accuracy of our insurance-industry-experience database.
- Build professional relationships with other interns, coworkers and customers while offering support across business units.
- New technologies, including Microsoft access, excel, sql, and more.
- Technical analysis, risk, insurance, or consulting depending on experience and placement.

- Enrolled in bachelors or masters program.
- Collaborative, well rounded, passionate, and good work ethic.
- Strong communication skills, responsible, and highly motivated to take initiative.
- The Intern Program is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
- Must be located near assigned office as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week.
