Requirements
- Proven experience as a PowerBI Developer with a strong portfolio of impactful dashboards and reports
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience designing efficient data models
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake as an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and AWS cloud services
- Experience with Python, including pipeline development from source to data representation
- Knowledge of cybersecurity KPIs and metrics
- Experience working in the financial sector is preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights using Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, and PowerBI
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate KPIs, trends, and anomalies, with a focus on cybersecurity
- Optimize data models and queries to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of PowerBI solutions
- Implement best practices in data visualization to enhance clarity, consistency, and usability for end users
- Work closely with data engineers to integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security
- Provide training, documentation, and support to end users to promote adoption and maximize the value of PowerBI tools
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in data visualization and analytics, recommending improvements as appropriate
Other
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
- At least 4 years of professional experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization, particularly in cybersecurity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
